Former Air Force Deputy Civil Engineer Bob Wolff joins Dawson

Dawson & Associates is honored to welcome Dr. Robert Wolff, former Director of Facilities Engineering for the U.S. Army and Air Force Deputy Civil Engineer, to our firm.

Bob’s expertise with federal logistics, design, procurement and budget policy stems from more than 40 years of service with the Defense Department (DOD) and support to DOD engineering agencies.


In addition to serving the Air Force as Deputy Civil Engineer, Bob was Director, Logistics Plans and Integration for the Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff.  Both were Senior Executive positions.


Bob also served 20 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, including 10 years at the Headquarters in Civil Works in support of major planning, policy and regulatory initiatives. Subsequently, he was Chief of Engineering for the Baltimore District where he was responsible for a $1 billion annual program of military and civil works engineering and construction, hazardous and toxic waste disposal and environmental remediation.

A Professional Engineer (DC) and life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Bob recently spent 12 years as Executive Director of the Society of American Military Engineers.


A graduate of the United State Military Academy at West Point, he has an MA and PHD from Stanford.
