Congratulations to D&A Senior Advisor Larry Liebesman for receiving the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s 2022 Environmental Excellence Award. The award recognizes his faithful service over 20 years providing legal assistance to the stone, sand and gravel industry.
Larry is a nationally recognized environmental lawyer with more than 40 years experience, including 11 years as an environmental litigator for the U.S. Justice Department. Since joining Dawson in 2015, Larry has focused his considerable talents
on helping the firm’s clients on matters involving the federal Clean Water and Endangered Species Acts and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
As part of a separate law practice, Larry recently authored an amicus brief on the Clean Water Act for the U.S. Supreme Court as it considers Sackett v. Environmental Protection Agency, a major case that concerns development and the U.S. Clean Water Act. To read Larry’s brief, click here.
