Tony has more than thirty years experience as a successful business economist and high-level policymaker for both federal and state governments.
A former U.S. Undersecretary of Commerce for Economic Affairs, Tony is the founder of The Washington Economics Group which operates in partnership with Dawson & Associates. Among his many public service positions, Tony is a most-recent member of the President’s Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations.
He is also currently on the Board of Directors of the Spanish Broadcasting System, Mercantil Commercebank, N.A., Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) and Enterprise Florida – the State’s principal economic development organization.
