Steve is also proficient in  water resources and energy permitting. He brings specialized knowledge involving federal policy and environmental law to private sector clients requiring help integrating their interests with federal operations to create permitting solutions.

 

Steve has crafted successful strategies on Clean Water Act permitting, Mitigation Bank permitting, and Endangered Species Act compliance, CERCLA and RCRA compliance. 

 

Steve holds an L.L.M. in Environmental Law from George Washington University Law School, a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association.

 

He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and their four children.
