Sr. Advisor Bob Wolff to receive “outstanding leadership” military engineer award

We’re delighted to announce that our colleague Bob Wolff, P.E., who joined us in 2015 after 20 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will receive the Walter O. Bachus Gold Medal from the Society of American Military Engineers next month. SAME selected Bob in recognition of his 27 years of “outstanding leadership and significant voluntary contributions” at SAME’s Post and National levels. Among Bob’s many contributions that SAME cited in its award are:

  1. Chairing SAME’s National Technology Advancement and National Education Committees;

  2. Serving two years as President of SAME’s Washington, DC Post; and,

  3. Serving 12 years as SAME’s Executive Director.

Among many successes under Bob’s leadership, SAME’s Education Committee established the first Engineering and Construction Camp at the Air Force Academy

Prior to joining Dawson, Bob was Director of Facilities Engineering for the U.S. Army and Air Force Deputy Civil Engineer.
