Happy July 4th

This Independence Day, Dawson & Associates celebrates the enduring ideals that have defined our nation for nearly 250 years: freedom, service, innovation and the belief that together we can build a stronger future. 

When the Declaration of Independence was announced in 1776, many in Europe viewed the Colonist revolt as the work of a select few who led a largely deluded populace in an effort doomed to fail.  The American Revolution was merely the work of “John Hancock’s money and Sam Adams brains,” or so many Europeans said. 

But history showed them wrong. And in response to a question about what the Constitution’s framers created after that hot summer 11 years later, Ben Franklin famously replied, “A republic if you can keep it.” 

This is our time to honor the generations whose vision and sacrifice made our nation's progress possible, while recommitting ourselves to the work that will shape the next 250 years.
