Brian has extensive expertise with federal and state land management policies and has spent decades using this knowledge to help clients resolve acquisition, construction and entitlement issues.
Brian’s experience with land-use issues involves commercial, industrial and residential master planned community projects. Prior to joining Dawson & Associates, he spent more than a decade as Vice President of land development for a Florida real estate development company with holdings throughout the state. He also spent more than a decade as a civil engineering project manager for Banks Engineering, Inc. and Agnoli, Barber and Brundage, Inc., firms specializing in land planning, surveying and civil engineering.
Brian’s expertise also includes assistance on a multitude of other matters, such as impact fee and proportionate share mitigation, creating community redevelopment areas, special assessment districts and community development districts in Florida.
