MICHAEL A. WEST, Ph.D.

Michael A. West, Ph.D., Senior Advisor, served for 18 years as professional staff of the House Armed Services Committee, including seven years as the principal staff to the Environmental Restoration Panel. In that capacity, he assisted the committee its legislative oversight and budget review of Department of Defense environmental activities. After leaving the committee, Dr. West has monitored and provided analysis of environmental legislation affecting the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps and serves as the editor of the Federal Facilities Environmental Journal.
