RICHARD E. SANDERSON
Richard E. Sanderson, Senior Vice President & Director of Business Development, has over 40 years of Federal service, including service as longtime Director of the Office of Federal Activities of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In that position, he oversaw the filing and rating of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation for the entire Federal government and EPA's compliance with the Endangered Species Act and other environmental legislation and executive orders. Previous responsibilities in EPA included the Congressional and Legislative Affairs offices.
Prior to joining EPA, Mr. Sanderson was a fellow with the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, and he also served with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
A graduate of Harvard College, he has lectured at many professional forums, including the Brookings Institution. His awards include the President's Meritorious Executive Award.
