Dawson & Associates is pleased to announce that longtime Corps of Engineers regulator Sam Collinson has become a Senior Advisor with a particular focus upon section 404 of the Clean Water Act needs of our clients.
In his more than 32 years with the Corps, Sam had the primary responsibility for the development of Corps Regulatory Program regulations and policy guidance including the current Corps regulations at 33CFR 320-331, the Corps Administrative Appeals Program and regulations, the current nationwide permit program regulations, Corps historic property preservation regulations, the regulatory training program and was an instructor for current and newly hired Corps District regulators. Mr. Collinson has trained Corps regulators nationwide.
Sam Collinson joins other D&A regulatory senior advisors including David Barrows, Susan Hampton and Kirk Stark to provide a nonpareil complement of talent for our clients who are frequently faced with potential onerous regulatory delays in their business schedules and added costs.
Among Sam’s other notable accomplishments is laying claim to having climbed the highest mountain in all 50 states, including Alaska’s Denali in 2005.
