Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Paul Cerjan

Senior Advisor

A Rome, NY native, Lt. Gen. Paul Cerjan served in the U.S. Army for 34 years. Paul rose quickly through the ranks of the Army, serving as Assistant Division Commander at Ft. Drum and subsequently as the Deputy Commander in Chief, 7th U.S. Army in Europe.  He was also President of the National Defense University in Washington, DC and, after his retirement from the Army, President of Regent University

Among the many tributes to this fine gentleman after his passing, there is one that would surely make him smile: In upstate New York, the road to Ft. Drum, home to America’s 10th Light Infantry Division, was recently renamed the Lt. Gen. Paul Cerjan Memorial Highway.

Paul was special because of his unfailing graciousness, good humor and the respect in which we held him.

RIP.
